Do I need an account?
No. Open the app, set your name and start adding things. Everything stays on your iPhone.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Either restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, or in TagVault go to Settings → Backup → Save a backup, keep the file in iCloud Drive, then choose Restore a backup on the new phone.
How does family sharing work?
Invite family from the app with a QR code. Phones share updates directly with each other when they're nearby, sealed with a key only your family holds. No internet or account needed. Boxes set to Only me are never shared. The family owner can remove anyone (Family → tap the person → Remove from family), and every family phone then stops syncing with them.
Which NFC tags work?
Any NFC sticker that holds NDEF data, such as NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216. Tap a tag on the top edge of your iPhone to open the box it belongs to.
Why don't photos get a written description?
Labels and text reading work on every supported iPhone. Written descriptions and receipt totals need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on (Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri).
How do I delete my data?
Delete the TagVault app. That removes everything from the phone. Backup files you saved yourself stay wherever you put them until you delete them.
